Puppies 4 Weeks Old

Puppies are halfway there!!!

The Puppies are now 4 weeks old. They will be 8 weeks old and ready to go to their new homes on June 21, 2013. You may contact us for further details. Call us at 904-377-8280 and if no answer you can either text or leave a voice mail. We will schedule visits on the weekends between now and June 21st if you would like to come meet your potential new family member and introduce them to your own family. We will be taking deposits of $150 to reserve your puppy. All are healthy and will be going to the vet in 2 weeks. Please make sure to check out our other pictures and information we have listed.

UPDATE:
Bear is no longer available. We have two appointments for this weekend and can accommodate more so definitely give us a call if you would like to come out and look at a puppy or put down a deposit. We will have more pictures in the next couple of days.

New Whelping Box

Also we finished the puppies new whelping box so they have moved into it to spend time away from Elsa, but they are still nursing. We are beginning their weening process now and their whelping box was specially designed to start their potty training via the "Misty Method" (Google it). Basically they are learning to eat, sleep and use the potty in different areas so they carry that over in their crates when they go to their new homes. They learn not to potty where they sleep, making it easier for everyone. Photo below.

Puppies Eating Hard Food

Just a quick note to share a couple of pictures of the puppies eating hard food. We noticed last night that their teeth are coming in nicely so we figured it was time to see how they handled moist puppy food and they devoured it all. As you can see from the pictures, Bear decided to park himself on top of the bowl and eat from each one.

3 Weeks Old & Growing!

Blondie 3 Weeks

Here are some pictures we took today. The puppies are doing great and growing fast. We featured Blondie at the top because she is by far the most advanced so far. She has blossomed early and is the only one who is independent. She barks to come out and play. She also is the best one on her four feet and plays around the most. Most of them are still just lying around and starting to move more, but none of them are even close to the amount of mobility that Blondie has.

The puppies have had a couple of visitors so far and everyone comments on how fat they are and how cute they are. They all have their eyes open now, but again Blondie seems to be further than the rest of them when it comes to being able to see. The one we nicknamed Bear is still the biggest and he will make a nice stud if someone chooses to breed him.

Also I am building the puppies a new whelping box which will be ready in a couple of days. This whelping box is designed to begin their potty training by introducing them to the concept of separate eating/sleeping/bathroom compartments. This will help them be ready to begin the crate training process when they go home with their new owners.

Video of Puppies at 2 Weeks

Below is a link to the puppies' first video. They are getting bigger and more active as you will see. So far there are a couple of favorites in the house already. One in particular is a little ham in the video. They have all opened their eyes, but two are particularly active as you will see in the video. Enjoy and we will get some more pictures posted in the next few days.

1 Week Old

The puppies are now a week old and all are doing fine. Both black puppies are sold. The chocolates and yellow are still available. The runt of the litter is a chocolate, but the yellow female is giving her a good battle for smallest. The chocolate male is a monster and continues to be rock solid. We believe he takes after Elsa and his Grandpa Max and will be a very nice sized male labrador. There are new pictures available of each puppy you can see by clicking on the side menu.
